Abstract

It is concluded from assessments (based on disease severity ratings, apparent infection rates, infection delay periods and tolerance) of 30 Spanish, Valencia and Virginia genotypes (selected from a preliminary screening of 120) that 52G25 and A10/DLP, both Spanish, may be suitable for use as parents in a breeding programme for resistance to Thielaviopsis basicola
