Abstract

When seeds of 40 spp. of Leguminosae were examined by the PDA and the blotter method Aspergillus clavatus, A. flavus, A. fumigatus, A. giganteus, A. niger and A. oryzae were the most common pathogens. Rhizopus spp. were found only on groundnut, pigeon pea, Lablab niger [L. purpureus] and cowpea
