Abstract
Max. oil content (c. 54%) was found in 7- to 9- mm-diameter seeds compared with only 48% in the bulk sample. Smaller (<7 mm) and bigger (>9 mm) seeds contained rather low oil content, 44.9 and 48.2%, resp. These differences are discussed in terms of possible changes in lipid metabolism during seed development and maturation
