Abstract
A series of studies were conducted at the Federal Experiment Station, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, to determine the characteristics of seed size and their effects on the growth, development and utilization of Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench. In one study 586 items from the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station USDA sorghum conversion program were evaluated for seed and seedling characteristics.
