Abstract

The breeding of groundnut varieties for resistance to Aspergillus flavus is discussed with reference to the sources and nature of resistance, varietal differences as regards colonization of the seeds, variations between isolates of A. flavus and the factors associated with the interaction between strains producing aflatoxins and groundnut genotype
