Abstract
The response of Cotton, peanuts, red beans and sesame to soil applied TIBA was studied at two locations in Venezuela. Also studied were foliar applications of TIBA on cotton and peanuts. The seed yields of red beans and sesame were increased by TIBA mixed in a fertilizer that was banded beside and below the seed at planting time. TIBA foliarly applied had no effect under the drought conditions of the experiment. IBA labelled with I-125 in position two synthesized and purified for the use in the leaching and decomposition studies.
