Abstract

Samples of grain sorghum were taken from different locations in South Africa. Digestible energy (DE) content was affected by cultivar and location with cultivar X location interactions. The percentage small seeds (<2 mm) and percentage unthreshed grain had a negative effect on DE content while starch and protein contents had positive effects
