Abstract
In field trials in 1973-5 in Halifax County, North Carolina, with most fungicides there was an increase in two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) on groundnut cv. NC2. When fungicides and insecticides were tank mixed or applied in alternate wk, mite outbreaks occurred. These outbreaks were followed by severe injury to the foliage and finally defoliation and seed yield reductions.
